Electrical Installations

We carry out all types of Electrical Installation

CircoTech carryout all aspects of Commercial and Light electrical works. We are an NICEIC approved electrical contractor We carryout the following works for our various clients throughout the UK.

We work with clients from the design stage through the installation to handover. All electrical works come fully certified.

LV Distribution

Low voltage systems are comprised of electrical equipment that uses 50 volts (V) of electricity or less. Common low voltages include 48 V, 24 V, and 12 V. Residential examples of low voltage systems include doorbells, garage door openers, home security sensors, thermostats, and landscape lighting.

The low voltage distribution system is the part of electrical power distribution network which carries electrical power from distribution transformer to energy meter of consumer. The voltage level of LV distribution system is typically equal to the mains voltage of electrical appliances.

Panel/Distribution boards

A panelboard is a component of an electrical distribution system which divides an electrical power feed into branch circuits, while providing a protective circuit breaker or fuse for each circuit, in a common enclosure. A panelboard services to protect branch circuits from overloads and short circuits.

A main breaker panel is used to control the electricity that's distributed throughout your home. It's the most commonly used type of panel. Not only does it distribute current to different areas and rooms in your house, but it also protects the circuits and identifies the amperage capacity

Switch boards

A switchboard is a component of an electrical distribution system which divides an electrical power feed into branch circuits while providing a protective circuit breaker or fuse for each circuit in a common enclosure.

Panelboards are typically flush mounted or surface mounted and are limited to a maximum of 1,200 A incoming current (main). Switchboards are free-standing units that are front connected and, like panelboards, require only front access. However, switchboards can allow for both front and rear access if desired.

BMS systems and associated works

A Building Management System (BMS), sometimes called a Building Automation System (BAS), is a computer-based system installed to control and monitor a building's electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, energy, fire systems, and security systems. It consists of software and hardware.

A BMS lighting system uses a sophisticated web of sensors and occupancy controls. Your managers can automatically shut down lighting during scheduled times of the day or night, or when areas are unoccupied. Lighting management also includes outside walkways, parking garages, loading docks etc.

Small Power Lighting including emergency lighting

We carry out testing in accordance with BS7671 from a full electrical condition report to emergency lighting and substation inspections.

We can design and install lighting and emergency lighting to your requirements. We can install a single circuit or replacing distribution boards.

HVAC controls

The definition of HVAC control systems can range depending on whether it is applied to a very basic residential application or potentially to an extremely complex large-scale application, but in short, HVAC controls consist of devices that control the operations of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning equipment.

The type of HVAC system determines the control sequence. Several types of control products such as pneumatic, electric, analog electronic, or electronic direct digital control (DDC) can then do the basic control sequence. The way buildings are used determines the benefits you can obtain from additional controls.
